These books are different from the books you are use to reading, these books create empathy and understanding for those whose brains work differently than others. Many "typically developing" people don't understand those who are different, and these books try to give a little insight on what is going on.

All brains are wired different, we need to not judge those who might be different from the way you think and try to understand! My Just Different series includes many topics besides special abilities, it includes special circumstances that kids go through. Working at a school with special abilities, I see and hear what the kids are concerned about.
